Historic Overview

Technical Institute of Nursing is one of Tanta University faculties. It was founded by resolution number 809 of 1975 to be a source of knowledge in the field of humanities. The Technical Institute of Nursing received its first group of students .
Then the Technical Institute of Nursing began to develop and expand remarkably year after year. This expansion manifested itself in establishing new departments and increase of enrolled students at them. Moreover, the new building of the Technical Institute of Nursing was inaugurated and became ready for education

It is to be become acknowledged as one of the highly ranked faculties of art in Egypt and the Arab world, to be capable of competing locally and regionally, and to participate, with other faculties of art at Egyptian universities in improvement of personal experience and making connections with the world, the international causes and human goals.

The Institute is committed to graduating specialists with high standard of knowledge in the fields of humanities, sociology and languages, as well as promoting innovation, acquiring scientific research and social skills in order to accomplish aims of society and address its issues.

• The Institute aims to provide nurses who are able to give essential nursing care based on necessary information and skills during work with healthy people and patients in all medical institutions. The duration of study at the Institute is 2 years through which the nurse study nursing sciences, basic medical sciences, and behavioral sciences as well as the practical training in the field of nursing care.
• The Technical Institute of Nursing grants students a certificate of technical nursing diploma.
• Estimation in the final year is cumulative by adding the total grades of first and second years.
